Our monitoring station, APS Security, has a number of features that allow us to offer monitored
customers a high standard of service and security, namely:

- ULC "AA" listed 3rd party central monitoring station, a designation we've achieved
by meeting demanding qualities in premise, procedure and staff. This designation allows our station to
monitor high security customers, such as jewelry stores, high rise fire alarm systems, etc. That same
standard is applied to all monitored customers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Monitoring is local, by people who live in your neighbourhood and speak your language.
Our English and Chinese speaking central station operators are well experienced and poised to provide
quick, efficient and helpful assistance, striving for communication excellence in this multi-lingual
community. Ours is one of the very few central stations to offer multi-lingual service.
- Our central monitoring station is one of the largest independent, wholly
Canadian owned central monitoring stations in Canada, boasting benefits, features and standards among
the highest rated.
- We are constantly investigating new methodology and technology to position
ourselves to offer our customers leading edge systems and services to achieve the level of security
required or desired.
- Every APS Security operator must be bondable and pass a security check by the Attorney
General, so customers can be assured of discretion and confidentiality.
- When our customers place a call to the central station, the immediate response
is from a live person - no queues, no automated attendant.
- APS Security boasts a (Central Station Alarm Association) CSAA Five Diamond designation,
one of very few in Canada. In order to maintain this distinction, our operators must be trained and pass
the special courses provided.
- APS Security not only monitors the customers of Acme Protective Systems but, as a third
party central monitoring station, we monitor on behalf of other security companies as well. Some of these
companies have been with us since inception, which in itself speaks volumes of the quality of service we
can and do provide.
